The Yeomen of the Guard Inglewood Theatre reviews
robert plant and the band of joy, awesome
The North Mississippi Allstars opened the show with superb musicianship, instantly warming up the majority of the crowd who had never heard of these young southern lads. Both brothers did fine fine work, and were welcomed graciously. The Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor was a pretty nice venue for my first time there, not a bad seat in the house, and the sound was great. The Yeomen of the Guard's set was absolutely superb, flowing from the opener "Angel Dance" to "Good Night Good Night." Their new material and Led Zeppelin material blended very well. Buddy Miller led the band with the cream of the crop musicians, Darryl Scott was a great addition, and Patty Griffin was joyous. The show was 5 stars front to back, with many years of continued success wished to The Yeomen of the Guard and all the musicians who shared the stage on that cold winter's night. Luther and Cody Dickerson of The North Mississippi Allstars were kudos again. Keep the great shows coming, thanks a million.
